Anti-Debris Mesh and GORE-TEX Upper

Utilising a combination of anti-debris mesh and ripstop woven fabrics, the Speedcross 6 Trail Shoes are a durable, long-lasting trail companion. The anti-debris mesh works to efficiently prevent dirt and debris from being trapped between your foot and the footbed, keeping you comfortable on the trail. Not only this but the tight mesh allows you to remain cool by supplying your feet with an optimum level of airflow so you're bound to feel fresh throughout the duration of your run. Working alongside this, the shoes are made from a woven ripstop fabric, with additional reinforcements to prevent tearing, ripping and abrasion from occurring, providing you with a long-lasting, reliable pair of shoes. Utilising Salomon's Sensifit design, the shoes have a clever construction to provide you with a precise, optimal foothold and classic Speedcross comfort. Completing the uppers of the Speedcross 6's is the Quicklace closure, making it exceptionally easy for you to tighten or loosen the shoes, providing you with the iconic Salomon lace-up design that we all know and love. A waterproof, breathable GORE-TEX membrane keeps you dry and cool from the inside and out, protecting you from the elements so you can run fearlessly. The materials within these shoes are produced using recycled products; for instance, PET bottles or material waste.

Sticking to the traditional Speedcross roots, the 6th version of these trail shoes have an EnergyCell+ midsole. EnergyCell+ is a high-rebound midsole technology that delivers substantial cushioning and durability. This midsole compound provides superior cushioning, stability and motion control to provide an efficient, stable and responsive ride. Energycell+ works to provide exceptional energy return by absorbing shocks when the foot strikes the ground and using it to propel you forward in the next step, this works to improve your foot's natural gait. Whilst, superior cushioning is generous, soft and durable, it spares your joints as you strike down onto hard, unforgiving surfaces. The shoes deliver a 60% reduction in joint forced to deliver a great balance of cushioning resiliency and a smooth ride. Anatomically mirrored grooves match the anatomy of the foot that cushions, guides and propels the foot for an ultra-smooth forward transition ensuring a more fluid ride.

Contragrip Outsole

An updated outsole to their predecessors, the Speedcross 6's still have the ultra-grippy Contragrip outsole, providing you with an unmatched level of grip and traction on varied terrain. This improved compound means the shoes will not only form a solid grip between the shoe and terrain but will work to shed mud quicker. This is due to their large lugs, therefore providing you with the perfect level of grip on all types of terrain, including wet and muddy conditions thanks to their deep lugs, which dig into the ground, anchoring you in place. This will benefit you by acting as a solid base for you to push off from when taking the next stride, as well as digging into the ground when braking or changing direction.
